I’m Somaiya Curwen
Was born in Peachtree City, GA. Ever since I was a kid, my passion has always been journalism and broadcasting, works in general. My core focus now is multimedia, journalism, and communications.
Background
I am a multifaceted media and entertainment student who has experienced communications in a variety of jobs and internships. I have developed on-air talent skills interning for The Bert Show, hosting and editing skills through my podcast Beyond the Beat, communication skills being a Pool Monitor for Advanced Aquatics, and writing skills as a freelance journalist for the Cobb County Courier.
Education
I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Media and Entertainment, and I dream of becoming an entertainment broadcast anchor. I plan to attend graduate school in Fall 2025 to get my master’s degree in communications and journalism.
